This just in! quote: “[a certain department in a certain city in Oregon] has no record of Ms. Deaver reporting a threat. Please contact me if you have any questions.”
Sergeant [name deleted]
[name deleted] Department
[phone number deleted]
update! in response to this revelation, SL wrote (at Kimkins.com) “Firstly, yes, I did receive calls, and woke up to them the morning that blog was posted with my information. I then found my information posted on the ducky site, and contacted my local police. I had conversed at length with that officer who was greatly concerned regarding the situation, and who gave me a lot of advice on how to handle the situation with the calls. He said that my contact information was public yes, but that it should not be used in a way that was prompting people to harass—commit a crime, against me. He had me send him the site information via email, and told me that the following Monday it would be handed to a computer investigator( who apparently did not work weekends) to contact the host and find out who was behind the situation.”
(end quote)
We here at Team Yucky want to find out once & for all what the hell is really going on — did SL really get any threats? did the [certain department of a certain city in Oregon]’s computerized name scan somehow miss relevant data? did our source misspell her name when requesting the name scan, or what?
So we sent a copy of SL’s comment to [name deleted] along with cc: to a certain [name deleted, department deleted, city deleted] who’s expressed an interest in SL’s allegations.
We’ll let you know as soon as we hear back from either of them so stay tuned.

Honestly we don’t know what to believe, except what the sergeant said. And he said there is no record of her reporting a threat. Period.
But just to make sure as we said we’ve forwarded him SL’s comment & sent copy to the [person] asking them to look further into this matter.
Hope they will. We’ve been curious about this ever since SL first made the allegations — we want to know if she’s just making stuff up, possibly as a distraction trying to help Kimmer, or to get some attention. Or if she’s actually telling the truth.
If she’s telling the truth then shame on whoever it was that called her. That sort of thing is NOT right, & the ends (justice for Kimmer & the closing of KK.com) do not justify such means.
If she did get any threats, we want to know whether the phone company has records. Is anyone being prosecuted? Has anyone been even charged or questioned?
Is there any validity to the theory that Kimmer herself called & threatened SL?
We know Kimmer talked on the phone a lot. Can the [department] obtain copies of her cell phone records? If so are there any calls on the dates in question to SL’s number from Kimmer?
Lots of questions. We’d like some answers. it’s time to tie up some of these loose ends.

By the way, SL since you’re reading here, feel free to post & speak your mind. Or would you agree to an interview here? Same deal as with Tippy — uncensored, unedited.

What do you guys wanna bet that since it’s been pointed out by the very clever HB over at LCF that it’s odd that Kimmer hasn’t gotten any phone threats, that Kimmer’s gonna start announcing that she HAS gotten some?
Of course she can’t let SL get more phone threats than she did, so expect Kimmer to say “Threats?! Lemme tell ya ’bout threats! I got so many threats I had to hire another imaginary tech guy just to answer my phone for me! I got so many threats I had to NOT call DOZENS of police stations! Threats are pouring in every day no I mean every minute by the hundreds no I mean the thousands yeah that’s the ticket….”

Good point, 2B, we’ll send that on to [city deleted] [department deleted] and ask if they can find out.
By the way — this is for SL and anybody else who doesn’t believe our posts here re [official's name deleted] — nobody’s stopping you from contacting him yourself.
Don’t ever take our word for anything you read here — check it out yourself to make sure. We’re doing our best to verify & get the news out but a big part of why we’re all here in the first place is because of taking somebody’s word for something. So we’re in favor of verification, you bet.
The [city deleted] [department deleted] has its own webpage & is linked to the City of [city deleted] site — all the phone numbers are right out there in the open.
Earlier this morning after reading SL’s posts at LCF we sent email via our source to both [name deleted] & [name deleted] to let them know of SL’s stated intent to contact them (or at least Sgt. [name deleted]) for further clarification (if we understood her correctly).
We explained to both officers briefly about the Kimkins scandal, the lawsuit & so forth, as well as SL’s association with the scandal, her remarks on the Morning Show, and what she was referring to when she said “the ducky blog”.
We asked the officers about IP addresses — if, as SL claims, any threats were posted in the comments section at Ducky’s, then the IP addresses attached to those threats would (?) still be visible to Ducky or at least to the WordPress tech staff. And those IP addresses could have been traced.
Our source for the SL/[city deleted] [department deleted] info happens to be the Nancy Drew who found SL’s info online way back when (including the Mormon dating site, the Harry Potter stuff & the artists site) & gave it to Ducky, never expecting that info to be used for anything other that a simple presentation of fact as part of the overall investigation into Kimmer & known associates, including of course the admins & mods at Kimkins.com.
The info didn’t & still doesn’t constitute invasion of privacy, because as a lot of you guys pointed out, SL herself was the person who put all that info online to begin with.
Our source — and we can absolutely vouch for her integrity in this matter — had no harmful intent when she handed the info over to Ducky.
& just opinion here ok but we don’t think Ducky had any harmful intent when he published that info at his blog. Maybe he just caught up in the moment & didn’t really think anybody would react the way SL says.
We’ve done our fair share of screwing up, acting on impulse, & it bites us in the butt every time. So we can imagine maybe how this unfolded with SL’s stuff at Ducky’s.

Sorry YY to confuse the issue there.
Honey Bee2 has mapped the location of SL’s posted adress and the police dept in that city you posted and she lives 1.1 miles from their investigative Dept so that theory is disproved. http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/9563882-post1794.html

wow. Ok we’ve got an email in to the city offices now asking how the 911 dispatcher routes calls. Like, if somebody who lives within a five mile radius of a certain department of a certain city, calls to report threats such as SL describes, to where does the 911 dispatcher route that person’s call — to the p.d., to the phone company, or what.
If we get a reply we’ll post a.s.a.p.with that info.
Great detective work HoneyBee. But we can’t say for certain the “alternate agency” theory is “disproved” just yet until we hear back from the city offices re routing of 911 calls.
Just want to make sure.
This whole thing is confusing as hell. Threatening calls such as SL claims (perhaps truthfully) to have gotten can with current technology be traced. Threatening comments on blogs such as SL claims (perhaps truthfully) can be traced (via IP addresses in the blog’s log or else in the host site’s log).
If any threats were made via phone or via blog comments it’s beyond our comprehension as to why the perpetrators haven’t been found & formally charged.
But then again a whole bunch of stuff is beyond our comprehension. Doesn’t mean it’s not true, just means it’s not something we personally can understand.
As far as SL’s allegations of threats are concerned if the 911 calls made from her location are routed to the department whose name we dare not speak then that pretty much cinches it for us — they did a computerized name scan & confirmed she didn’t contact them about any threats. We’re old fashioned enough to trust & honor the office & the officer who ran the scan & who confirmed the results of that scan.
Could SL’s report have fallen through the cracks? we don’t know enough about how computerized name scans at police departments work to say for sure one way or the other. All we can do is try our best to get valid information & report it.
